| The Seven Day Bell is named for the seven small "bells" attached to it. Etched on each of the bells is a different sign which long ago symbolized the particular duty of each day of the week. Centuries ago, the ancient Latvians used signs and symbols to communicate. It is known, however, that these signs had more than one meaning and were used to represent other messages. Since, no written evidence confirming the meaning of the ring's symbols as listed inside exist, the future archaeological studies may reveal new and different interpretations. Nevertheless, the Seven Day Ring is a meaningful reminder on any finger of any day. COPYRIGHT KRIKIS JEWELERS 1990 |
