This genuine BLUE amber is not color treated, therefore it shows as dark cognac color in regular lighting. However, when put under a HEV light, it turns blue and other colors do not. I have seen many ambers claiming to be blue and look very blue in regular light. They are color treated to enhance the blue pigment. The 1.5 inch pendant is sterling silver and comes with an eighteen (18) inch chain. Wonderful specimen for an amber collector.
